MOON IN CAPRICORN, MOON IN THE TENTH HOUSE
When somebody with the Moon in Capricorn starts being especially nice to you, always ask yourself “What do they want?” Might as well ask what a rabid crocodile wants when he licks his chops. The answer is the same in both cases. He wants blood.
I know it’s nasty, but that’s how these people operate. You’ll save yourself a lot of confusion if you define the terms of the relationship from the start. It’s the ugliest Moon sign of the lot. This specimen believes that the world is such a harsh place that the means justify the ends – and if that means taking something away from you, even if you’re more deserving, that’s just tough.
The most hideous effect they have on other people is this using capacity. Only the Moon in Capricorn acts this way – any other plane or point in Capricorn is fine. Why are these Moons so twisted? Mostly you can trace a cold, childish, selfish mother figure. Sometimes Mother died when the child was young. These people never got decent values or adequate emotional nurturing when they were children. They have all lost their mothers in some way. Parents wanted them to push, push, push in society and never mind whose head you have to walk on to get at the Big Chance. Only when you become a Big Shot, says Mummy, will I love you. Is it any wonder so many successful people have Moon in Capricorn? And that the rest of the Capricorn Moons live desperate, fearful lives of isolation and failure? A Capricorn Moon may seem to be better at something than you are, but this isn’t as likely as the cold fact that they want it worse than anyone. Adolf Hitler had this Moon.
Somewhere under that heart of cardboard is a conscience, though. Capricorn Moons always unconsciously set themselves up to get cracked right in the teeth by their nasty ambitious boomerangs. They always get clobbered badly, but you shouldn’t hold your breath waiting. Stop them in their tracks before they rip too many people off, including you. They have a wide circle of “friends” (whom they secretly consider to be their inferiors) to whom they moan and groan about how depressing and hard life is. They don’t have patience for your sad story, though – they might get sucked into your depression, and they’ve got better things to do!
Selling them is easy. Just find out what they want, and make them pay for it, like Mother did.
All right, there is another side to Moon in Capricorn. Those black-dog depressions lead to not a little profundity, even wisdom. If you don’t mind waiting a couple of centuries for the buggers to trust you, they will reward you by acting loyal, hard-working, and responsible. They’re not afraid to work.
These emotionally-guarded paranoids have a deep yearning for love, but they’re not giving it away. You must earn it. When they fall in love, they give their hearts for life. Maybe their love goes deepest of all the signs, but they’d rather show it in material ways. They want your slush, but they’ll be damned if they embarrass themselves showing their vulnerability…Chickens!!! Forgive them – ’twas the doing of Mommie Dearest.
Once in a while you find a sweetie with a Moon in Capricorn; then you can be sure you’re dealing with what the young bores over at the Unification Church call an “Old Soul”. Robert and Susan, you’re okay sweethearts…but look out for the other, “Young Soul” types!
Abe Lincoln is the best example of Moon in Capricorn’s most surprising and enduring trait – a dray, wry sense of humor. Someone in a crowd heckled Abe one time, calling him two-faced.
“I leave it to you,” quipped Abe, our finest stand-up comic President. “If I had two faces, would I be wearing this one?”

Yes, I am coming out of the closet. I am a gay man trapped in the body of a bisexual woman with lesbian tendencies and asexual behaviour.

If god , or whatever higher power that might or might not exist, had even a smidgen of mercy to shower upon me , I would have been born a male. So what if the Y chromosome is now hypothesized to be defective? Eventually, the species still end up with dicks and seem to have a much easier life on earth.

I have stumbled upon golden truth here ladies and gentlemen. If only you would stop obsessing over iPAD , (who gives such ridiculous names to products anyway?) you would realise that the world only has time for certain types of women.

Type A:
THE SEXY BLONDE BOMBSHELL, WHO MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE GOTTEN BOOB JOBS DONE.
Two words. Sarah palin.
I rest my case.

Type B:
THE NERD/GEEK/SECRATRAY WHO SECRETELY IS A SEXY BEAST IN BED AND WEARS LACY PUSH UP BRAS TO WORK.

Two words. Tina fey. (Suddenly, being geeky is glamorous?!)
I rest my case.

Type C:
THE AVERAGE GIRL WHO ACTUALLY IS A BOMBSHELL AND ALL THE MEN WANT HER. INCLUDING DEAD ONES.

Two words. Bella Swan.

So what happens to the rest of the female population? Not all of us are blessed with good hair or size D cup or do we have enough money to get some even if we wanted. Yes, you say we have personality. We have the wits. We become your best friends. We can’t even rule the world because apparently you need to have been an ex-Supermodel to do so. Whoever said that being beautiful on the inside is more important than looking good on the outside was probably butt-ugly. (Similarly when you are told that everyone is a winner and no one is a loser, simply except the truth that in this world there will always be ONLY one winner. The rest are all losers.) Guy friends have admitted to me that while dating they would prefer to date girls who are skinny, twiggy modelesque types and would prefer to settle down with homey girls with figure. What does this mean to female population at large? We spend our youths trying to get into shape and maintaining that “figure” so that guys fawn over us (well, there are some feminists who might say that they exercise for health reasons or for purely their sake. But which woman in her right mind would deny the fact that there is certain thrill to watching men trip or taking a double look as they walk by?) but still it seems as if men have more power over situations than women in general.

We say we have moved on to more liberal times where men and women are on equal footings when it comes to career. My question is, should we allow “career” to be the litmus test to check if we have achieved this so called state of equality. Every year there is at least one article about “super-women”. These women were able to juggle work, motherhood, wifely duties, being a daughter and even best girl friends without seeming to break a sweat. However, if we take a closer peek (sweetie, I thought I had already told you to stop playing with iPAD!) we realise that men have been doing this for ages. Well, they may not have been so involved in domestic activities but they have been juggling work, family life and social life for ages. Why, some of them were even able to juggle having more than two mistresses on the side! Imagine how tough that would have been? Do you hear them complaining that not much has been done for them? Do we get to read about “super-dads” who spend hours slogging at work so that their children can buy some of the latest [yet redundant] piece of technology and still find time to maybe get his wife/mistress off before he gets to sleep?

Forget about career. Let’s just focus on the more important social activity called dating.

How many of us have proclaimed we hate valentine’s day in December so that when February rolls around and you still don’t have a date, you can easily claim (planning ahead is crucial. Just like planning a murder, a strong alibi is the key to success!) that you rather eat a slug than date a boy!? At the age of 21 (well, I am inching towards it.) I still haven’t been on a date. Neither have I experienced earth shattering love. Sex has become a fictional commodity. It is more of a myth; in fact it strays towards legends. When my friends speak of sex and love, the closest I can compare those feelings to, is feelings elicited when I have hot chocolate.

Ultimately male has the upper hand in any situation when it comes to this terrain of dating. The women seldom ask a guy out and those who do are perceived as being too forward. There will never be equality for men and women. Men who sleep around are considered studs and women who “sleep like men” are sluts.

I am not saying that being a woman doesn’t have its merit. It does to a certain degree. However, I rather be a man. Then my brash behaviour will be deemed appropriate; my dress sense will be ignored; and society be damned I can do what I want and get away with it.

Because I have a dick.

there are good days and then there are bad days. yesterday was a bad day. and its all my fault. i could have studied if i wanted to but i didnt.

i know i can do this. i just get so distracted. and i allow myself to be distracted. well, no more. hence forth i shall be diligent. get things done.

while in the past i used to burn with a passion. now a days i am lucky if i can find a spark. perhaps i am making excuses but i sure wish things were so much more fun to study. science isnt all that it claims to be. i dont know if i am making the correct decision by sticking around in science.

i know i am not horrible at it. but i am not great either. what am i doing? i just have a few more sem left and after that i really need to find some work that i am passionate about.

i might seem flakey but it would be for the best if i moved out of singapore and work/travel for a year or so.
